A vet based in the UK needed to examine a racehorse in Australia , but could not spare the travelling time. We organised an OB unit at the Australian stables and a satellite link to London , so the vet was able to give his diagnosis from BBC TV Centre.

Case Study: 2

A major oil company hosting a promotion in Washington needed a contribution from London-based guests. The contribution had to look professional and appear in broadcast-quality video. We put the guests into a BBC television studio and fed the output on satellite to Washington.

When Silvio Berlusconi, the Italian prime minister, visited Britain , we put an OB van in Downing Street and sent live pictures to Italian television.
