Welcome to BBC International - the department within BBC Sport
that provides production and technical assistance for the world's broadcasters.
The BBC has always set great store on co-operation with fellow broadcasters around the world. The European Broadcasting Union was founded in Britain in 1950; and the BBC's coverage of Queen Elizabeth II's coronation in 1953 was one of the first major live international television relays.
Today, BBC International maintains that tradition by co-ordinating the BBC's relays of UK sports events and news and special events. We also offer technical and production facilities to the world's broadcasters.
